Alongside your weekly open remote writer job lists, you'll get a useful newsletter with more jobs leads, tips, publications and a spotlight on the best information.
For this newsletter, I've highlighted some useful sources in finding companies hiring remote staff and, as I like to be helpful, I tucked some job leads into the foot of this email.
Christmas is close now. You’d think it’s slowdown time for remote recruitment, but a horde of opportunities continues to open up.
There are so many companies that are hiring remote staff. In fact, there are plenty of companies that are looking for writers who can work from home or anywhere in the world right now.
Why do writers prefer to work remotely?
The list of reasons is a long one. The top reasons appear to still be:
They can work from anywhere in the world.
It’s a great way to make extra money from home.
It’s much more flexible than a traditional 9-5 job.
What was your primary reason?
Is there enough work for remote writers?
The internet has become an integral part of our lives, and it’s only going to keep growing in the coming years.
Since the pandemic, a vast increase in the number of companies understanding the value of hiring remote staff has erupted. Companies that were against the idea of remote staff now tend to look for writers who can work from anywhere in the world.
Here are two extensive lists to 100s of companies that hire remote workers:

If you’ve followed my job leads and kept browsing the useful sites for finding work on the shared Google doc, you’ll be finding lots of open remote writer positions. Many demand specific skills; so if you fit, great.
SaaS is big; HR writers are in demand; Companies seek technical writers daily.
So many other niches with a need to hire writers crop up from beauty writers to sport writers to movie reviewers…. and on.
Since there are so many unadvertised jobs found only through pitching, that means you have your work cut out for you. Apart from job ads, always pitch sites that match your interests and experience. You are offering to take a big task off the webmaster’s hands by writing up articles.
Do keep browsing through job lists such as my Substack Writing Jobs posts and applying for your matched positions if you have no work or seeking a change or want an extra income.
TIP: If you sat down today and listed all the brands that interest you, and included ones related to your experience, you’d have a list of companies to approach.
TIP: For more than a decade, asking digital agencies if they need remote writers still works. So many digital agencies like to turn to remote writers to meet content deadlines for their clients.
Enough work? Certainly.

A request for feedback: Working for Ampifire
Also, if you have started to work for Ampifire, do please let me know how the job progresses. I’m getting mixed messages about the work, writer abuse and low pay.
I’d love feedback from any writer working for Ampifire. Much thanks in advance.
